Young Scientist & Sci-Fest...

January the 14th all Transition Year and Second year students went to the Rds for the Young Scientist. Me and Lauren Tierney had entered it along with the rest of Ty students, but unfortunately we didn't get through, only one group from Ty got through , well done to Sh, Ab and Ke who got through. The got highly recommended by the judges which is a great achievement. It was a great day for all ,it was great craic and very educational. We went around looking at the different projects and we watched Robot Wars in the circus tent. We got to mix with other schools which was good. They were from all over Ireland. Now me and Lauren have entered our project into SciFest which is something like the Young Scientist. Our project is on the effects of caffeine on the human body. We are doing our research on it at the moment. I hope we go far in this competition :)
