Im Gunna Take You Out to Mullingaaaar .....

25th Of January all Ty students headed off to Mullingar for the Briery Gap Competion. We left school at 9.10 and didn't arrive there till around 10.30 the bus journey was good fun singing to music. As we came closer to Mullingar Arts Centre the nerves set in. When we got off the bus we headed straight for the centre. When we arrived there , we got put into a room to get ready to perform. No other schools were there yet , so all the actors were not as nervous. Noughts and Crosses went first, then Time Of Your Life, then But You Didn't and last but not least Driving Under The Influence. Every play went amazing. They even made the audience cry. the judge had great things to say about our plays and she gave us tips on what to do in the future if we get through to the finals. After we all had performed we went and had our lunch in Mullingar Village. When we had finished we went back to the Art Centre to find students from Kilkenny and Galway there getting ready to perform there plays. We watched all there plays and even made new friends they were lovely :) After that we had another long bus journey home. The day was great and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves :)
